"Sam and Randy,

I would like to thank you and Randy for the great time fishing last summer (July 2008). All 5 guys in our fishing party caught a lot of fish (700 lbs total) and had a great time. We will never forget this trip!

When I hauled in a 80 lb halibut, I thought this would be a record catch and then Dave Khoury latches on to a 110 pounder about 2 hours later and starts jabbing me about what it takes to catch BIG fish.

Don Coury was our go to man when it came to catching GIANT ling cod and sting rays.
I remember Toney Joseph catching a yellow eye that must have gone 20 lbs. The big eyes on that fish looked like mine after partying all night. We cooked that fish up for a fish feed on the island where we stayed overnight. 

Lynn Anderson (a.k.a. Stretch) was catching halibut in the 5 to 60 lb range and even a few sharks.
Bottom line is that we all "GOT FISH" and this proves you put a good deserving name on your boat. 

Oh, the rest of the big fish story!  On the last fishing day I was getting a little edgy knowing I had to put on my best fishing performance of our three days at sea in order to humble Dave Khoury with his 110 pounder. I had Randy, put a double helping of herring on my hook so I could entice a big one to attack. Attack he did! The pole looked like a horse shoe when I hooked this monster. Captain Sam said that I must have gotten hung up on a rock and wanted to take over the fishing pole to free it. I said "Bull, this is a fish and it's got to be bigger than Mobey Dick". Dave Khoury was now starting to look a little sea sick as his face turned white with contempt. Courageously I fought this fish, as the sea-saw action between man and beast took place. I would reel like hell gaining on the fish and the fish would take off pulling drag while the reel started smoking because of the friction. Finally, after 30 minutes of hellish battle, I got the fish to the side of the boat where Randy put a gaff into it and Captain Sam gave it the coup de grace with the shotgun. It took everyone on board to get this 280 lb halibut into the boat so all seven of us can say we caught it!

Just wanted to drop you a note to once again say thanks! We had a Fantastic time with you on our overnight fishing and camping adventure. I know it will be with me for the rest of my life. I know I'll be telling everyone that I know who and where is the place for fun and adventure in Alaska is with SamsAdventures!
Steve and I couldn't stop talking about that weekend.... we had alot of fun fishing the Kenai and the Nush..... but fishing with you was an absolute blast.
Looking forward to coming up next year and spending 3 days with you wherever we may go.
